    Another great story by Lindsay.
    Reaper is looking for Caroline - she (her blood to be exact) holds the key to the serum he and his team need to survive.
    He rescues her from the same facility his team were guinea pigs at, getting injured in the process. They are running from General Rainier (Caroline's former fiance) and his army of renegades. Reaper and Caroline are trying to evade the searchers, stay alive, and Reaper needs to get the next dose of serum to his team. Caroline doesn't realize Reaper's plans. She thinks he was sent by her father to rescue her.
    Good drama, great read.

    Caroline!!! Who hoo, I have been waiting for her story and to find out what happened to her.
    The story line is super engaging and Reaper and his team are going through so much and will offer up some awesome stories.
    This is another excellent book that is related to Men of Mercy but stands perfectly and separately on its own.

    Because I received this book on a giveaway, this is the first book in this series that I’ve read, and it’s almost the last in the series. Lol. I loved it so much, i’m now going back to the beginning of the series to get caught up. I love a good military type story, and adding two damaged souls finding true love just tops the cake!

    I loved the over all story of this book and the characters were fun, and fun to read. The only trouble I had was with some of the back story, I felt like I was missing something. Good news was that it wasn't essential to the main story line so it wasn't so bad. I am looking forward to the next one :)

    I loved Caroline, I was glad when I learned she had her own story especially when it didn’t exactly resolve in Mercy and Mayhem but set up for its own series which begins with this book. I really felt for her and everything that she had been through yet she was willing to put the last little bit of trust in Reaper which I felt they were adorably cute together.

    Reaper, I loved his character, he was willing to risk everything to try and get this serum which also included rescuing Caroline. I loved how their connection built over time. I also loved that when he did finally develop and listen to the feelings he had for her, he was willing to risk the life of his team to make sure she was safe. Also that she was never used a test subject again.

    I loved the action in this book, I also loved the connection that these two characters had. I fell in love with their relationship.

    Like the other books Lindsay Cross writes there is an overall arc for the books and I loved it, I cannot wait to read the rest of the books and found out about the serum and whether they can survive or not. The book has an amazing plot. I loved it.

    This story was extremely intense and it worked really well. I fell in love with the story and characters and I really can’t wait to see what happens with this series. Lindsay Cross is amazing and I have no idea what I’m going to do when I run out of books of hers because I am addicted.

Mayhem Warrior is a rollercoaster ride of testosterone driven evil generals, power hungry doctors, and two innocent victims trying to survive Cross has taken T.K Reaper and Carolyn and written a story worthy of them both. Two innocents let down or lied to by the system they trusted or people they loved. Reaper his honor and goodness destroyed because he let his team down. A man that believed in the system that he protected with his life thinking he was doing right by making his team stronger and better. Carolyn abducted and imprisoned for years used as a guinea pig for her blood in medical experiments. Character development and story lines could not have been any better. This book was written with such impeccable detail and true love for these characters that I could not put it down. With the horror of their pasts Reaper and Carolyn could have been unemotional, uptight robots but Cross wrote them with humor and survivors instinct. Each only half a person because they lost so much but together they become an unbreakable unit. The back story and secondary characters played a very strong part in Reaper and Carolyn's story as it progressed. The emotional attachment I felt to both characters shocked the hell out of me and made me appreciate their HEA ending so much more. The Mayhem series deserves loyal readers as much as the Men of Mercy series. I cannot wait for the next installment

    Thank you Lindsay, you just keep coming up with great Stories! Very well written but I did notice a couple small mistakes someone didn't catch. Not enough to distract from the story. Wonderful comraderie between the soldiers. I assume we'll get to know each one in future books. H and h were very well developed characters, you could feel the emotions! Looking forward to the next book!

    A standalone romance with a HEA that forms part of a series with overlapping characters. This story is bordering on science fiction in current times with the medically enhanced super soldier idea. However it also reminds me a bit of a potential James Bond storyline with its criminal mastermind and his private army at a secret scientific research site.
    There are a few editing errors that I noticed - spelling, punctuation and grammar rather than plot inconsistencies hence not five stars.
