I do enjoy books about books, libraries, book clubs and bookshops, so when I read wonderful reviews for both of these books, I immediately requested them from the library. It took awhile for my name to get to the top of the queue, but I’m glad I was patient. Both of these were great stories and I loved the friendships and found family themes.

Back at the end of April, I posted a top ten:  Unread Non-Fiction Books on My Shelves I Want to Read Soon. They are all on my backlist, with the three I read in May being from 2017, 2018, and 2020. One of these is a Narrative History, one a book on Social Justice/Racism and the last a memoir of sorts about a man who changed his life by changing his diet and getting a rescue dog. I liked all of these books and now am ready to tackle a few more from my list.
