Must Read Monday #1- A Change of Fortune by Jen Turano

Hi Readers, Happy Memorial Day! ( and Happy unofficial start of the summer!) Just wanted to take a second to show you one of my favorite books and my latest Must Read; A Change of Fortune by Jen Turano!

From the Back Cover

Lady Eliza Sumner is on a mission. After losing her family, her fiance, and her faith, the disappearance of her fortune is the last straw. Now, masquerading as Miss Eliza Sumner, governess-at-large, she’s determined to find the man who ran off with her fortune, reclaim the money, and head straight back to London. Much to Mr. Hamilton Beckett’s chagrin, all the eyes of New York society–all the female ones, at least–are on him. Unfortunately for all the matchmaking mothers and eligible daughters, he has no plans to marry again, especially with his hands full keeping his business afloat and raising his two children alone. When Eliza’s hapless attempts to regain her fortune put her right in Hamilton’s path, sparks instantly begin to fly. The discovery of a common nemesis causes them to join forces, but with all their plans falling by the wayside and their enemies getting the better of them, it will take a riot of complications for Hamilton and Eliza to realize that God just might have had a better plan in mind all along.

About the Author

Before I give you basic info about the author, I want to let you know that I had the pleasure of meeting Jen at this year’s CFRR (Christian Fiction Readers Retreat) and she was hilarious! I’m always nervous talking to the authors that write my books because their attitude could impact how often I read their books and Jen was so sweet! She immediately started joking and talking to me like I was one of her best friends – which I really appreciated since as I mentioned before, I was incredibly nervous (nervous may be an understatement)

Jen Turano, author of A Change of Fortune, A Most Peculiar Circumstance, and A Talent for Trouble, is a graduate of the University of Akron with a degree in Clothing and Textiles. She is a member of ACFW and lives in a suburb of Denver, Colorado.

Hope you guys have a great day and thanks for stopping by! If you’re still reading this… you are AWESOME! Comment below with one thing you look forward to doing in the Summer and/or what is one of your favorite books? (because seriously, we can’t just pick one!)

Happy Reading! 😊
