What is the Marriage Checkup?

The Marriage Checkup (MC) provides brief, focused, and personalized feedback on the health of your relationship by a trained marital health professional. The MC is not therapy or counseling, rather it is an informational marital health service. It is completely up to you to decide what, if anything, to do with the feedback received.

The Marriage Checkup works in the same way that a physical or dental checkup works. Keeping tabs on the health of your marriage now will help keep you healthier in the long run. The best thing you can do for your marriage is to start adopting good health habits now.

All couples have both strong points and areas where they can use some help. The Marriage Checkup will help you discover how to make your marriage flourish.

Can I be a participant in the Marriage Checkup?

Dr. James Cordova and the Clark University Couples Research Program is offering for a limited time a free Marriage Checkup (MC) for couples who would like to find out more about the health of their marriage and whether their relationship is suffering from any common problems. Consultation is completely confidential. Objective personal feedback of results will be provided. It is up to the couple to determine what, if anything, to do with the feedback received.
