Do animals have eyelashes?

Not all animals have eyelashes.

Eyelashes are hair. Mammals with hair or fur have eyelashes. Mammals include horses, cows, antelopes, elephants, kangaroos, and dolphins.

Dolphins and whales are mammals. Aquatic mammals do not have eyelashes.

Birds have feathers, not hair, so very few birds have eyelashes. Ostriches, secretary birds, and hornbills have eyelashes.

Fish, aquatic animals, insects, arachnids, reptiles, amphibians, and other non-mammals do not have eyelashes. Some invertebrates do not even have eyes.
