Snapchat has launched a new series of short videos in order to help educate advertisers on the range of ad options it has available, and how brands can use them to best effect.
Called "Solutions in a Snap", the new series will provide insights from Snapchat experts on its various promotional tools and channels.
As per Snapchat:
"Each episode will focus on a specific business solution, where you’ll learn more about which products, tools, and tips can help you achieve your objective."
The first episode in the series looks at commerce:
"In this episode, you’ll learn how to engage an audience of mobile-savvy shoppers using our new formats and tools that make it easy for advertisers to create immersive and effective shopping experiences on Snapchat."
The video clip is very short, so there's not a lot of depth to each element, but it does provide a quick, simple overview of the various product ad options available within the app, which not all brands will be aware of.
Snapchat's been working to improve its business process this year, adding in new, more advanced ad tools in an effort to maximize its revenue potential. There's no doubt that Snapchat has a strong allure with younger users, but the big question is whether those audiences are able to drive significant spend, and whether Snap ads can actually deliver relevant results.
Snap Inc. has been improving on this front. The company posted a $298 million result in Q3, beating market expectations of $283 million, and again, various reports have underlined the fact that Snapchat remains a key platform for younger users.
If Snap can further showcase its potential, and encourage more advertisers to give it a try, it may be able to boost its revenue results, and get back on track after a rocky 2018.
